5 months!
This past month was pretty exciting as far as getting to see more and more of Miss. Harper's personality come out. She's a funny girl! Makes me laugh daily. She also continues to add things to her "resume" as she is able to do more! ;) She is sitting up so well on her own and when her head does get a bit to heavy she will just go ahead and play with her toes. She keeps herself entertained. :P
Sleep has been SOOO much better this past month as well. I forgot to write about her sleep in the last post, but that's probably because we weren't getting any! I am thankful that she is finally sleeping better. Not every night is great but even the bad nights are better then what we were dealing with the two months prior. I think it helps that I have stopped bringing her back into our room in the middle of the night when she wakes up. I just feed her in her room then put her back in her crib, no matter how tired I am. We all sleep more soundly this way.
She is still not rolling over consistently but she is getting really close. She likes to hang out on her side. :)
I have been reading her a lot of Dr.Suess lately and she loves it. She will watch me as I read and then will look back at the book and start moving her lips like shes talking but says nothing. She's mimicking me and it is the most adorable thing! I couldn't be more proud of my little one and I am really looking forward to all the new things she may do this month
Weight: 15lbs
Diapers: She is finally in size 2's! They may be a bit loose though because we have had at least 3 blowouts since we have switched over. Fun stuff!
Clothes: 3 month stuff is getting tight but is still wearable. She wears a lot of her 3-6 size things. A lot of her 6 month clothing is spring/summer though so I'm really hoping she will still fit into it by the time this weather cleans up its act and gets warm, lol.
Food: Mostly mommies milk. Our evening routine now includes a tablespoon or so of baby oatmeal and then about 4-5 ounces of formula. Now that she sits in her highchair I have really been enjoying our family dinner time. I grew up always eating dinner as a family and I plan on continuing this as a priority. <3
| Creepy! haha Totally on purpose of course lol |
