9 Months




9 months in and now 9 months out! I must say, her 9 months out have gone by  A LOT faster than the 9 months she was in. :) I just can not get enough of her and I'm sure you guys are getting tired of seeing her pictures everywhere, but I have tried cutting back on sharing them so much and I just can't seem to keep them from you guys! haha <3 
Little one has been fighting a low grade fever (and sometimes not so low grade) for the past three days so she has been a bit more fussy than usual but hopefully it is on its way out. I haven't had to medicate her at all today and it has stayed in the lower (99.0-100.0) of the high temps. She had her 9 month check up today and our awesome Pediatrician said that if she is still running a high temp by friday to give them a call but I am praying that she will be back to normal by then! 


 Weight: 18 lbs 2 oz

Diapers: size 4

Clothes: 9 month and 12 month

Sleep: Since she hasn't been feeling her best she has been sleeping a lot more during the day and is sleeping her usual 12 hours at night. 

Food: Nursing every AM and PM and she is formula fed in between. We have starting giving her some table foods. Some things she enjoys some things not so much. She loved the rotisserie chicken we picked up from Costco. ;) Oh and she seemed to enjoy the very little bit of my Chipotle rice that she got a taste of tonight.

Milestones:
  • She pulled her self up to stand! She has been doing this for a while now but from sitting in our laps. It was exciting when she did it from sitting on the floor!  
    • She is pointing at everything.
    • Starting to talk more and with new words/sounds. 
    • Feeding herself. 

    Likes/Loves:
    • Loves her puff snacks.
    • Loves giving kisses to everyone and everything. It's the cutest when she kisses characters in books when we are reading. Oh, which reminds me, she likes to turn the pages when we read too. 
    • Loves sipping water from daddy's water cup. 
    • Loves when we sing The Wheels On the Bus Go Round and Round. With all the motions of course ;)

    This month we:
    Got a visit from Tyler's mom. :)

    Celebrated Father's day! Tyler's first. <3


    Celebrated America and my brother and his engagement to his awesome girl, Hillary. :)

    Met Forrest. He is adorable, is about 2 months old, and his daddy is long time friend of mine and of Tyler. It was really cool seeing our babies together and to see where life has brought us all. :) God is awesome.

    14 Weeks

    I wasn't sure if I was going to do a weekly update or not but I think it would be fun for the sake of me getting to look back on this super awesome adventure. ;) Also, I have always enjoyed reading blogs and keeping up in peoples lives, so for those who would like to stay informed about whats going on in my pregnancy/life in general, this is for you too!  Baby bump at 14 weeks Size : Baby is about the size of a lemon. 3 1/2 inches. Total weight gain/loss: The numbers are starting to creep up a little bit each week. :) It is sooo nice having an appetite again but now I want to eat all the time! The goal, though, is that slow and steady wins the race. I read that I should be gaining at least a pound a week since I was a normal weight pre-pregnancy.  Maternity clothes: I'm in that annoying stage where my old clothes are starting to get a bit too snug but most maternity clothes are way too loose. So I have been wearing a lot of legging and t-shirts for the time being. :)...

    26 weeks

    26 weeks I've got the 'smuggling a melon' look going :) Size : I'm not feeling lazy today so I will actually talk about Harper's developments this week instead of just copying and pasting. ;) This week she has hit the TWO pound mark! And she measures about 9 plus inches. Her eyes are beginning to open this week as well! Although there's not much for her to look at in my womb, she moves more if she senses light (or hears loud noises). I actually just went to a movie and she was moving like crazy through most of it. Now I know why! It was noisy :) All this responsiveness is connected to the fact that her brain is more developed and sophisticated at this point! Yay!  Total weight gain/loss: Things have been staying pretty steady this past week. Maybe I need to eat more? haha I can totally work with that!  Maternity clothes:   I am wearing a lot of the same things over and over again due to the limited amount of things that will fit. It ...
