11 Months!




My tiny little baby is already 11 months?! It is truly mind boggling how fast little ones grow and it sure does pull on a mommies heart strings. I will be soaking in this next month because from what I hear, and have experienced a little bit as a nanny, once they hit one they turn into little toddlers. No matter what though, she will always be my little baby. ;)
God has truly blessed us with such a beautiful baby girl, inside and out, and we are so overwhelmingly thankful. <3

Diapers: size 4

Clothes: 9 month and 12 month

Teeth:  She just had her third tooth pop through yesterday. So now she has two bottom teeth and one up top. :)   

Sleep: Now that I am working and she goes to nursery, she wakes up for the day around 7:30 and goes down for the night at 7. Now that she is super busy having lots of fun at nursery during the day, she sleeps even more awesome then she did before (at night that is) :)

Food: She loves her food. Her favorite snack now is graham crackers. I give her the whole cracker and she goes to town. She still takes about 4 bottles a day but starting on, or near, her first birthday we are going to be switching to milk in a sippy cup.  Hoping it's a smooth transition. Ek! 

Milestones:
  • She can walk while holding on to mommy or daddy's hands and has even taken a small independent step here and there. 
    • Cruising on furniture and such. 
    • Says "Hi!" 
    • She schootches around in circles while sitting. 
    • Pulling up on lots.
    • Shakes her head 'no no' but also uses that move while dancing ;) 
    • She is in a mimicking stage, which is lots of fun for us!

    Loves:

    • Her mommy and daddy, of course.
    • Playing with her friends at nursery. 
    • Waving and smiling. :D

    This weekend was our friends, James and Kristin's, wedding! They are finally MARRIED and I am so excited for them. :) It was such a beautiful and fun wedding and everything turned out so great!     14 Weeks

    I wasn't sure if I was going to do a weekly update or not but I think it would be fun for the sake of me getting to look back on this super awesome adventure. ;) Also, I have always enjoyed reading blogs and keeping up in peoples lives, so for those who would like to stay informed about whats going on in my pregnancy/life in general, this is for you too!  Baby bump at 14 weeks Size : Baby is about the size of a lemon. 3 1/2 inches. Total weight gain/loss: The numbers are starting to creep up a little bit each week. :) It is sooo nice having an appetite again but now I want to eat all the time! The goal, though, is that slow and steady wins the race. I read that I should be gaining at least a pound a week since I was a normal weight pre-pregnancy.  Maternity clothes: I'm in that annoying stage where my old clothes are starting to get a bit too snug but most maternity clothes are way too loose. So I have been wearing a lot of legging and t-shirts for the time being. :)...

    26 weeks

    26 weeks I've got the 'smuggling a melon' look going :) Size : I'm not feeling lazy today so I will actually talk about Harper's developments this week instead of just copying and pasting. ;) This week she has hit the TWO pound mark! And she measures about 9 plus inches. Her eyes are beginning to open this week as well! Although there's not much for her to look at in my womb, she moves more if she senses light (or hears loud noises). I actually just went to a movie and she was moving like crazy through most of it. Now I know why! It was noisy :) All this responsiveness is connected to the fact that her brain is more developed and sophisticated at this point! Yay!  Total weight gain/loss: Things have been staying pretty steady this past week.
