1 week

*~1 week and a day until Due Date!~*

Which I guess technically makes me 39 weeks? Maybe I have been a week behind on posts...lol I don't really know but what I DO know is that it's getting so close!!!! :D
I have a hand full of friends that are also pregnant...YAY for babies! And a few of them are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little ones any day now as well. I have been so excited about all the babies that have been born lately and am getting very excited to see the new faces that will hopefully be showing up very soon! Good luck ladies and I hope L & D goes smoothly for us all! <3

She's getting SO big.... :)
Size: Baby girl is gearing up to see the world! She is still layering on the fat to help control her body temperature once she is born. She is about the size of a mini Watermelon weighing about 7 pounds and measuring about 20 inches long. The outer layers of skin continue to fall off as a new layer forms underneath. :)

Total weight gain/loss: I have been loosing just a pound here and there but apparently this is normal the closer you get to delivery day.

Maternity clothes: I have enjoyed this cooler weather because it does give me a few more choices in my wardrobe! :)

Gender:
 Girl, Harper Patrica <3

Movement: She still has very distinctive awake and asleep movement patterns. I am getting very excited to have her wiggling around in my arms instead of in my belly!

Sleep: It's hit or miss lately. With some new aches and pains developing, I have been having trouble sleeping or staying asleep some nights.

What I miss: I am not really missing anything this week! I am just very ready to meet our little one!

Cravings: Ice cream, potato chips, surprisingly veggies hits the list this week as well!

Symptoms: My hip and pelvic bones/muscles have been very sore this week and that is a new symptom that tends to keep me up at night. It is definitely a lot harder to get around these days and I am very much uncomfortable most of the time. I must say this sort of excites me though because just last week I didn't feel like she was making any progress. I was telling people that I didn't think she was making me quite miserable enough yet to be close to being born. I can now say that things are getting a bit more miserable (but totally manageable and very much worth it) and that I wouldn't be surprised if she were to show up very soon. :)

Best moments this week:  Things have continued to be pretty quiet around here and that has been great! Because we all know that "quiet" and babies don't really go together all that well, therefore, Tyler and I have been soaking in all the silence and relaxing that we can before her arrival. We are so ready to be parents though and couldn't be more excited about all the new and exciting adventures that we are about to embark on together. :)

My family has started a poll this past week on when Harper will make her debut. We each have put in $5 and who ever wins will buy something special for baby girl. It has been fun and will keep us all entertained while we wait patiently for her arrival.
Our guesses are: September 24th, this is my guess ;), September 27th, September 29th (which is my late Grandma Pats birthday so that would be special!),September 30th,  October 3rd and October 4th.
So we shall see!

Also, funny side note and one of the many, many reasons why I love my husband...
Today as we were getting ready for church I needed to head back up stairs to brush my teeth and finish getting ready and as I looked up the stairs I jokingly ask if he could walk up the stairs for me because they looked like a lot of work haha and so he came over, picked me up and carried my not-so-light self all the way up! He's so strong and dreamy haha
