Slept through the night - fo' real!
Harper has been technically sleeping through the night already. Giving us about 10-15 hours total of sleep but that included one to two wake ups/feeds. Well last night she slept through the whole night solid! I'm actually probably jinksing myself as I write this because she's still asleep and we are 30 minutes shy of the 12 hour mark. If my body weren't completely uncomfortable holding so much Milk, I would still be sleeping soundly, but it is what it is and I feel super refreshed none the less!
Thank you beautiful Harper!!
Mommy loves you <3
(March 25) Update:
Alright so after this 13 hour night things got a bit rocky for the next few nights again. But then something happened on Friday March 21. I made a choice to just see what happened if we let her cry it out for a few min at a time. So we waited 10min at first then went back in and replaced her paci. Right as Tyler was leaving the room she knocked the paci out and started crying again. I decided to see what would happen of we didn't replace the paci. So we waited 12 min then I went in and just soothed her by talking quietly to her and rubbing her head for a few min then left even tho she was still crying. After about another 20 min of fussing she found her thumb and then was out for the whole night! 13 hours! And we just had our fourth consecutive 13 hour night! I'm thrilled. :-) Who knew that something as simple as getting rid of the paci would help us all sleep better. Parenting is such a fun adventure. :-)
