Happy Father's Day



What a great day to celebrate some of the wonderful Dad's in my life! After our morning serving in the nursery at church we head over to my parents house, along with Tyler's dad, and we had a pool party! I am so blessed to have an amazing father and I am so thankful that he has taught me what a real man is! Definitely helped me pick a winner! :)  I am also thankful for my wonderful father in law! Harper is such a lucky, lucky lady to have such wonderful and strong men in her life! Of course her daddy is the bestest and the love they share is so special it makes my heart so happy! 

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY ALL YOU DADDY'S OUT THERE!

This weekend was our friends, James and Kristin's, wedding! They are finally MARRIED and I am so excited for them. :) It was such a beautiful and fun wedding and everything turned out so great! 14 Weeks

I wasn't sure if I was going to do a weekly update or not but I think it would be fun for the sake of me getting to look back on this super awesome adventure. ;) Also, I have always enjoyed reading blogs and keeping up in peoples lives, so for those who would like to stay informed about whats going on in my pregnancy/life in general, this is for you too!  Baby bump at 14 weeks Size : Baby is about the size of a lemon. 3 1/2 inches. Total weight gain/loss: The numbers are starting to creep up a little bit each week. :) It is sooo nice having an appetite again but now I want to eat all the time! The goal, though, is that slow and steady wins the race. I read that I should be gaining at least a pound a week since I was a normal weight pre-pregnancy.  Maternity clothes: I'm in that annoying stage where my old clothes are starting to get a bit too snug but most maternity clothes are way too loose. So I have been wearing a lot of legging and t-shirts for the time being. :)...

26 weeks

26 weeks I've got the 'smuggling a melon' look going :) Size : I'm not feeling lazy today so I will actually talk about Harper's developments this week instead of just copying and pasting. ;) This week she has hit the TWO pound mark! And she measures about 9 plus inches. Her eyes are beginning to open this week as well! Although there's not much for her to look at in my womb, she moves more if she senses light (or hears loud noises). I actually just went to a movie and she was moving like crazy through most of it. Now I know why! It was noisy :) All this responsiveness is connected to the fact that her brain is more developed and sophisticated at this point! Yay!  Total weight gain/loss: Things have been staying pretty steady this past week.
