23 weeks and McClure Wedding fun!

This weekend was our friends, James and Kristin's, wedding! They are finally MARRIED and I am so excited for them. :) It was such a beautiful and fun wedding and everything turned out so great! They are such a beautiful couple inside and out and I hope they are enjoying their much deserved honeymoon in Hawaii! Love you guys!

                                                23 Weeks

Size: Your little doll-sized babe is about to chub up a bit. Her saggy skin will start to fit her frame as fat deposits fill things out. Beginning this week, she'll start to pack on the pounds (which means you will too!) and by month's end she'll be double the weight she is now (though you won't be — whew!). Right now, your baby's organs and bones are visible through her skin, which has a red hue due to developing veins and arteries beneath. But once those fat deposits settle in, she'll become less transparent.

Total Weight Gain: According to what it says above, the pounds are about to be "packed on." Plus my love of all things sweet will most likely be a big part of it as well ;) 

Movement: She has been moving a lot these days! Tyler got to feel her move for the first time this morning! His first comment was "Hey, stop kicking your mother!" Love that he is so concerned. ;) 

Sleep: Friday and Saturday combined, I had a total of about 6 hours of sleep. With all the wedding fun going on I had trouble staying asleep. I fell asleep great but if I woke up just a little bit I was never able to settle back in due to all that was on my mind! Too excited!!! haha I got to catch up on all my sleep last night so I'm feeling much more myself again! But that wedding was totally worth my few restless nights!!! <3

Cravings: My sweet tooth is still out of control! I feel like I have to force feed myself other non sweet things to get all my nutrients. ;)

Symptoms: Sleepy, but I think that has to do with the busy week and exciting weekend that I had. 

Best moments of the week: Getting to stand by my best friend on her wedding day, and that baby Harper was able to be apart of the memories as well. :)

I wasn't sure if I was going to do a weekly update or not but I think it would be fun for the sake of me getting to look back on this super awesome adventure. ;) Also, I have always enjoyed reading blogs and keeping up in peoples lives, so for those who would like to stay informed about whats going on in my pregnancy/life in general, this is for you too!  Baby bump at 14 weeks Size : Baby is about the size of a lemon. 3 1/2 inches. Total weight gain/loss: The numbers are starting to creep up a little bit each week. :) It is sooo nice having an appetite again but now I want to eat all the time! The goal, though, is that slow and steady wins the race. I read that I should be gaining at least a pound a week since I was a normal weight pre-pregnancy.  Maternity clothes: I'm in that annoying stage where my old clothes are starting to get a bit too snug but most maternity clothes are way too loose. So I have been wearing a lot of legging and t-shirts for the time being. :)...

26 weeks

26 weeks I've got the 'smuggling a melon' look going :) Size : I'm not feeling lazy today so I will actually talk about Harper's developments this week instead of just copying and pasting. ;) This week she has hit the TWO pound mark! And she measures about 9 plus inches. Her eyes are beginning to open this week as well! Although there's not much for her to look at in my womb, she moves more if she senses light (or hears loud noises). I actually just went to a movie and she was moving like crazy through most of it. Now I know why! It was noisy :) All this responsiveness is connected to the fact that her brain is more developed and sophisticated at this point! Yay!  Total weight gain/loss: Things have been staying pretty steady this past week. Maybe I need to eat more? haha I can totally work with that!  Maternity clothes:   I am wearing a lot of the same things over and over again due to the limited amount of things that will fit. It ...
