And the name is....

Harper Patrica Shifflett

Tyler and I both fell in love with two names and Harper was the winner in the end! :) It doesn't really have any sentimental meaning to either one of us, we just both really liked it, so it became the one. The middle name, however, had to stay because Ms. Harper will make it the 4th generation of Patricia. It was my Grandmothers name, is my moms name and it is my middle name, so I am thrilled that she will be able to carry it on. <3

22 Weeks

Size: This week, she weighs in at a whopping pound and measures nearly eight inches, about the size of a small doll. But your little doll (who now has eyebrows, eyelashes, and maybe even some hair on that little head) is a living one who can now perceive light and dark. She can also hear your voice, your heartbeat, your gurgling stomach, and the whoosh-whoosh of blood circulating through your body. And as her brain and nerve endings develop, she may reach for her face (or whatever she can reach) just to experiment with her newfound sense of touch.
(I got lazy and copy and pasted this so I'm going to be good and site it below haha) http://www.whattoexpect.com/pregnancy/week-by-week/week-22.aspx#

Total Weight Gain: Since the beginning of this pregnancy, I have gained about 13 pounds! I guess that's on track... They never say anything about it at my check ups so I am going to take that as a good sign lol

Movement: The movement is getting more aggressive these days and some days she moves a lot more than others. I am much more fond of the days when she moves a lot because it calms my nerves. :)

Sleep: Still sleeping fairly well. I have occasional nights still where I will wake up for no reason (maybe Harper is kicking me awake or something lol) and I am having some really weird dreams!

Cravings: My sweet tooth is out of control! I can seriously be super stuffed from just eating a decent sized meal but when there is dessert afterwards I can crush that too with no problems haha

Symptoms: You know that feeling of being overly full after a big meal? That's how I feel pretty much all the time now. Not very comfortable, but I make sure to drink lots of water through out the day and that seems to help a bit. I find it harder to get up from sitting and just getting around in general isn't as easy as it was pre-pregnancy which makes perfect since as I am growing a human being in my belly. lol

Best moments of the week:
We got to see Baby Harper again this past week. <3 Of course, they needed mostly frontal face images which are more creepy than cute in an ultra sound lol but she gave us some more profile pictures too so that was really sweet. <3
Baby Harper <3

We have finally started the nursery that has been teasing me for so long! We got it painted and picked out some decor. :) It is still in the very beginning stages obviously but there is plenty of time left until baby comes so I just need to breath and take it slow. (Even though my instinct is to get it all done at once because it is so much fun lol)
Just FYI, we still have the painters tape up..that's not just a random blue border lol

I was super excited when Tyler found this giraffe bank!!Its perfect!

Also, my best friend is getting married in less than a week! It has been crunch time as she gets the finishing touches together. Luckily, I had a week off of work, so I was able to help her get a lot done. :) I am super excited for her and James as they get closer to their wedding day!
