14 Weeks
I wasn't sure if I was going to do a weekly update or not but I think it would be fun for the sake of me getting to look back on this super awesome adventure. ;) Also, I have always enjoyed reading blogs and keeping up in peoples lives, so for those who would like to stay informed about whats going on in my pregnancy/life in general, this is for you too!
Size: Baby is about the size of a lemon. 3 1/2 inches.
Total weight gain/loss: The numbers are starting to creep up a little bit each week. :) It is sooo nice having an appetite again but now I want to eat all the time! The goal, though, is that slow and steady wins the race. I read that I should be gaining at least a pound a week since I was a normal weight pre-pregnancy.
Maternity clothes: I'm in that annoying stage where my old clothes are starting to get a bit too snug but most maternity clothes are way too loose. So I have been wearing a lot of legging and t-shirts for the time being. :)
Gender: Only about 6 more weeks till we find out!
Movement: Still no movement felt yet.
Sleep: Man oh man, my dreams have been super vivid lately! Thank the Lord, they haven't been scary though. I have begun dreaming about babies every night, so I wonder if that will continue from this point on or not.
What I miss: I miss being able to wear all of my clothing. Especially with spring and summer on its way, I see all these things in my closet or really cute clothes when out shopping, that I know I wont fit me. lol Just a petty little thing. No biggie ;) I just need to learn how to shop for this new and always changing bod!
Cravings: Fruit! I love purple grapes and strawberries at the moment.
Symptoms: I am officially at the second trimester so I am feeling pretty awesome at the moment! I do get tired easily but when I am awake I feel very energetic and good. I am also starting to actually look pregnant. It's a nice change from always looking like I'm just super bloated or ate a huge meal. :)
Best moment this week: My best friend, Kristin, is getting married this June! Tyler and I are good friends with her and her fiance, James, so we are SO very excited for them and we are thrilled/honored to be a part of their big day! As her Matron of Honor, I helped co-host a bridal shower for her this past weekend and it was a lot of fun getting to celebrate the bride to be! She looked beautiful in her pretty red dress and was definitely showered with lots of love and gifts that day! :)
