16 Weeks

Tyler and I had a weekend with no plans! This rarely happens, so we decided that we would spend that time doing some spring cleaning. :) We had SO MUCH stuff! Its amazing how much you can accumulate through out the years, and now that one of the rooms we used for storage is going to be occupied in a few months, our space has become limited. We both had to do some major letting go of things. I am normally one of those " but what if i need this random thing later" kind of person but now I just need space! Anyways, getting to spend so much time with the hubby is always great and we really had a great time making room for baby. It was fun getting to just sit in baby's room together and imagine what its going to be like in about 5 months. Puts a huge smile on my face :D

16 weeks baby bump.
My word, black really is a slimming color! haha

Size: Baby is about the size of an avocado this week. He or she is about 4 1/2 inches. :) The bones that are in place in its ears mean that he/she can probably hear me now! I now have an audience while singing in my car and shower haha kinda intimidating ;) Apparently, I should be expecting a growth spurt in the next few weeks as the baby will double in weight and add inches to its length. Looking forward to that!

Total weight gain/loss: Gaining them pounds. ;)

Maternity clothes: Things are really starting to get tight! I may need to break out that container of maternity clothes that I was given, not too long from now. :)

Gender: 4 more weeks till we find out! (Hopefully. We should be scheduling the ultrasound appointment at this Friday's checkup.)

Names: The "name game" has become a popular game with my family. So I have had so many in my head this week! Ill list below some of my favorites from this week.
Boy names on our mind: Eli is still one of my favorites and at this moment its the only one I can think of lol
Girl names on our mind:Ella (also lasted another week), Mya, Ana

Sleep: I wake up at least once a night to use the restroom. I still feel very rested in the mornings though so all is well.

Cravings: Sweets. Tyler has been doing a great job at keeping me accountable, so that I don't eat too many of the bad kinds of sweet. So as usual I am finding new ways to curb my cravings. Such as Popsicles made with real fruit, raisins, small amounts of dark chocolate, graham cracker's with peanut butter etc.

Symptoms: Feeling good! My back gets achy at times if I sit for too long and I am tearing up at pretty much anything remotely sad lately, thanks to hormones, but that's about it! Cant complain. :) Oh, and I keep reading that the frequency of having to pee is supposed to ease up around this time, however, I feel like I am always having to go!

Best moment this week: Clearing out baby's room, and having fun with the Hubs in the process. :) I also had most of last week off so I had a lot of time to relax which was really nice. It was a pretty quite week. I better enjoy the quietness while I have it though! lol
